I have a particularly tough time with wanting to hang out with friends who are in town from out of state. I try to cram it in. But they got families and people to see. Who says they need or want to see me. For some reason, it’s never enough to just make sure I’m having a good time and living well. 

It’ll be worse next Christmas, when it’s me who is coming home from out of state.
